On April 28, 2017, the Dominican Sisters of Adrian dedicated a memorial marker for sisters in the Our Lady of Remedies Mission Chapter (Pampanga, Philippines). “The memorial marker is testament to the close connection between the Dominican Sisters in the Philippines and the Adrian Dominican Sisters, who helped the Filipino congregation become established in 1960.” |

On May 13, 2017, Sister Nadine Foley, OP, former Prioress of the Adrian Dominican Sisters and former President of the Leadership Conference of Women Religious (LCWR), died at the age of 93. The Funeral Mass was held on Friday, May 19, 2017, in St. Catherine Chapel. |

Dominican Sisters of Peace Give $1.5 Million for PhD Program at Founded University |

The Dominican Sisters of Peace have given a $1.5 million gift to Ohio Dominican University. “The gift is earmarked for the renovation of an existing on-campus building that will house the University’s proposed Doctor of Physical Therapy program. The DPT program will be the first doctoral program offered by the University.” |
