Dominican Sisters of Adrian: ‘Second Building of Dominican School of Angeles Blessed on Feast of St. Rose of Lima’ |

On August 23rd, the Feast of St. Rose Lima, “the Adrian Dominican Sisters of Our Lady of Remedies Mission Chapter blessed a second school building of Dominican School of Angeles City – the Virgin de los Remedies Building . . . The new building was constructed to house six more classrooms and spaces large enough for school Masses and physical education, to allow the school to add grades 11 and 12.” |

“On Monday, September 18, 2017, Sr. Margaret Ormond, O.P., was presented with the Breukelein Institute's Award of Merit . . . Sr. Margaret is the President of the Dominican Academy, a Catholic college preparatory school for girls founded and supported by the Dominican Sisters of Peace, and located in Manhattan, NY. Her work at the Dominican Academy, as well as her numerous other ministries around the world, was recognized with this honor.” |
