Your WISDOM note ...for the week of April 10th, 2011:

 

At the essence of who we are is our spiritual self.  We nurture this aspect of our self by embracing a spiritual practice in our lives. 

If that practice is regular and purposeful we are able to transform the fear, anger, and sadness we feel; we are able to see that the world we live in is much more than just a 'physical' reality.  Developing your spiritual self helps you to live as loving awareness because you do not see life as a series of challenges, rather possibilities.  

Mindfulness and contemplation are core components of spiritual practice.
