Your WISDOM Note for the week of JANUARY 8th , 2012:

In this first week of a brand new year....What have you decided for your life?

What will be entirely different than before?
What will be consistently better? 

 


Change happens all of the time.  But are you choosing the change you want for your life?
 The beginning of any change starts with
 self-awareness.  Self-awareness helps you to see 
yourself as you are.  It allows you to know yourself better than you ever have.  This is important, for without knowing ourself, we suffer.  We continue to repeat the same behaviors, make the same choices, fear the same fears - all without ever getting past these conditions. 

Self-observation highlights your thoughts and actions.  Awareness brings about change.  You begin to see what you've always done and you are no longer prepared to continue in the same way.  Self-awareness prompts right action and the pre-requirements for lasting change.   

Self-awareness through observation and reflection helps you discover what needs to be improved.  Self-awareness guides you to trust in your inner self for giving you the right answers to help you change your life.  


Would you be willing to practice deliberate self-awareness for an entire day....observing your thoughts, behaviors, and the ways in which your interactions wtih others create an outcome?

Would you be willing to not blame others for your life situations?  Rather examine what do you need to do from here to create  better for your life?

  
What do your self-observations reveal?  From where can you begin to bring greater joy into your life and to let go of behaviors that no longer serve your highest good?  Call on your inner knowing (your intuitition or higher self) for the answers.  Trust in these answers and begin to follow them.


* Begin. 
* Contemplate your plan for lasting postive change not only in your personal desires but in the kind of person you want to be. 
* Write your ideals for your new improved self. 
* Visualize with mental pictures how you see your ideal self to be. 
* Visualize your life in its best way. 
* Continue to visualize and see the positive changes you are seeking daily to help your subconscious mind reflect this in your active life.


Becoming a better version of yourself positively affects the lives of everyone you love: your partner, your children, your family and friends. 

Becoming a better version of YOU through self-awareness and trusting your inner knowing grows your self-esteem and self-confidence.
