Your WISDOM Note for the week of: JUNE 17th, 2012

A Practice of NON-JUDGEMENT

How better to honour those in our life than to reflect on the gifts of love - the teachings of wisdom they have given us?

Of the many ways we can practice NON-JUDGEMENT, consider what we learn from each person, each life experience, each challenge and situation that is before us.

When you observe all others, let what you see and hear become a means of learning rather than critique, judgement, or condemnation.

Experiencing your divine nature comes in part from the indulgence of observing others.  Observing ways in which you might emulate and aspire to is equally important as identifying how you want to be different from others.

Non-judgement is your willingness to honour  both yourself and others as you are different; and to see the differences in everyone as equally valuable and important.

Our human conditioning has taught us to judge.  When we judge we fail to see all of the beauty and perfection in others and in life itself.  Our divine nature is to be loving.

Practice non-judgement by being compassionate and kind.  In moments when you observe yourself in judgement, stop and consider what you can value and appreciate in another.  See their soul as perfect and pure.  Honour the divine nature in others even when they are not able to live from this place of pureness at times.

Practice non-judgement inwardly.  Be mindful of how you speak to yourself at all times.  How we are with others is a reflection of how we are with ourself.
