Notes of WISDOM  ...

 for the week of: October 30th-November 5th, 2011:

 

 

 

when you are joyful, others follow...they are in fact, drawn to you...

when you are angry and hurtful, others run away

What are you creating by allowing yourself to be consumed with negative thoughts and actions?  What harm do you do to yourself in these moments?

 As much as you may work to remain positive in all situations, life will occasionally throw you a curve ball - a challenge to what you have been working on. 

When faced with such a situation, do you typically react hastily, angrily, with agression?  Do you take an extra moment to remind yourself that you actually get to choose your reaction? 

Think of the next moment.  Know that your actions will continue to have recourse, will continue to live on in the minds and hearts of others.

Begin by finding your state of calm.  Practice returning to that calm at several times throughout the day.  Then when you need it - it is there for you.

...deep breaths, eyes closed, releasing all negative thoughts....What does your calm state feel like?  How will you find it?
