At East West Academy of Healing Arts, we are passionately pursuing our vision of Chow Qigong in every home....in the world! Imagine what a different world it would be if we could all thrive and stay healthy naturally. Chow Qigong, an integrated healing system, offers families/friends the skills and confidence to heal themselves and help each other do the same, thus affecting the health of the planet. This summer offers opportunities to begin an intensive study of Chow Qigong to build your own qi, learn to help others, and qualify for our international healing team; a truly life changing experience. Speaking of life's dreams and connections with others... In this newsletter you will read about some of the incredible partnerships that have been and are being developed to accelerate the exposure of Qigong and TCM to the world. In San Francisco alone our alliances with New Living Expo in April and the Asian Heritage Street Celebration in May have introduced Chow Qigong/TCM to over 100,000 this year! In Toronto, the 14th World Congress on Qigong/TCM energized the next generation to the potentials of Qigong for health, prosperity and happiness. For 2013, the 15th World Congress on Qigong/TCM returns to SF for the weekend of May 17-20 partnering with the 9th Annual Asian Heritage Street Celebration, and is cosponsoring international Qigong/TCM conferences in Chengdu, China and Tokyo, Japan. We are very open to your invitation to partner with your agency or projects, because more cooperation creates a greater collective consciousness for an improved individual and world.

World Tai Chi & Qigong Day Dedicated to
Dr. Effie Chow
This year's event was dedicated to Dr. Effie Chow of East West Academy of Healing Arts and Dr. Ken Sancier, Qigong researcher for their lifelong dedication to promoting the world's health through Qigong and Traditional Chinese Medicine. The nomination was presented to Dr. Chow by the SF Board of Supervisors and announced by co-founder of WTCQD Bill Douglas, who only two years ago was dying due to severe infection but was healed and saved through Dr. Chow's treatment.

Toronto 14th World Congress on Qigong & TCM Got a Big Thumbs Up!
This year’s Congress created a new height in term of the numbers of attendees, the depth and breadth of the program. Over 700 people attended!
There were phenomenal performances on Qigong and martial arts. Workshops were held by masters and senior instructors from all over the world including the US, Canada, Japan, China, Thailand, Italy, and Romania. A science symposium led by Dr. Shin Lin with the presentations by research scientists Dr. Randall Waechter, Dr. Shu-Ming Wang, Dr. Ge Wu and Dr. Chenchen Wang on the health benefits of Tai Chi, Qigong and TCM.
Dr. Effie Chow of EWAHA was presented a Lifetime Achievement Award. Awards were also granted to others such as Qi Fei Long, Mantak Chia, Qin Xiping and Dr. Chenchen Wang from the World Congress.

New EWAHA-Organized Alternative Healthy Living Addition to 8th Annual Asian Heritage Street Celebration
The Healthy Living Pavilion of the Asian Heritage Street Celebration included for the first time, a new dimension to the world of medicine: alternative medicine booths. Chow Qigong Works Wonders in
Columbia, Missouri & Apple Valley, Minnesota
COLUMBIA, MISSOURI Dr. Effie Chow applied her unique method and made people feel Qi almost instantaneously during the recent seminar and workshops in Columbia, Missouri on May 4th through 6th. Furthermore, she literally brushed away chronic pains from the shoulders, knees and lower backs from many attendees. She helped a Vietnam War veteran with Post-Traumatic-Stress-Disorder (PTSD) depression. One person’s tinnitus was almost gone. One person, who could hardly muster the energy to walk into the auditorium on Friday evening for Dr. Chow’s seminar ended up “dancing” away afterwards. The successful stories went on and on. APPLE VALLEY, MINNESOTA Katie, a participant of the Minneapolis Level 1 Program was one of the many success stories. She had Cerebral Palsy from birth injury confined in the wheelchair all her 30 years of life. After three sessions of Chow Medical Qigong personal consultation, in March (third class of our level 1) she could stand for 20 minutes and walked for the first time 300 ft. with little assistance, she was able to for the first time in her life get down from the wheelchair and back up all by herself....whereas her dear husband had always carried her to get around.mThere were many tears with laughter and joy! In the first month she spoke and wrote more clearly.
The success stories continued. Many people with ringing in the ears for as long as 40 years were totally relieved! Some who had worn glasses for many years are now able to read without glasses! Severe edema of the legs no longer have swelling.
