The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks7:30 p.m., Wed., April 23 | Black Box Theatre
“The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks” is the true story of a poor black tobacco farmer whose cells — taken without her knowledge in 1951 — have been used over the past 60-plus years in many scientific discoveries worldwide. Members of the Lacks family will join us to discuss the book. Free and open to the public.
