Money for educationNeed money for school? Get tuition assistance for fall classes!

Check out some of the programs that help students with tuition for classes:

Worker Retraining for students who are:

  • Facing a layoff
  • Currently collecting unemployment or have exhausted unemployment benefits within the past 24 months
  • Displaced homemakers (recently separated or divorced) within the past 24 months
  • Self-employed, now unemployed within the past 24 months
  • Vulnerable worker, employed in occupation identified as “not in demand”
  • Honorably discharged veterans within the past 24 months who are not eligible for educational benefits
  • Disaster-impacted worker
  • Stop Gap Employment, temporary worker laid off from customary work  for which their training qualifies them
  • Active Duty Military, having received an official order of separation

BFET: for students receiving food stamps

WorkFirst: for students receiving “Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF)”

Opportunity Grant: for low income students studying certain professional-technical programs

Complete the Dream Scholarship: for students entering their final quarter who have experienced a financial hardship that would inhibit them from completing their degree/certificate

Ed$tem Scholarships: provides scholarships and support to students studying science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).

PACE-IT: for students earning certificates in computer related fields

The Center for Families provides the building blocks for early learning for children three months to five years old. Construction professionalsIs your future in building?

Become a construction manager or building inspector. The job market is strong for both career paths, especially with the increasing complexity of today's construction projects. We offer several courses of study designed to prepare students for professional careers in the construction industry. More information available at www.edcc.edu/const.


Explore composites and aerospace manufacturing

6-8 p.m. | Sept. 4 | Monroe Hall

Program in the spotlight: Paralegal

The Edmonds CC Paralegal program prepares students to enter the challenging field of law as a paralegal. Your responsibilities may include interviewing clients and witnesses, researching the law, preparing briefs, and attending court hearings. If you enjoy problem-solving and research and have an interest in law, you have the beginning of a fine paralegal career. Classes are offered day, evening, and online.
