Dear E4FC Family,

On #GivingTuesday, we give you another fabulous resource!

e4fc-beyond-deferred-action-guide

Before DACA, E4FC launched a study to see what kinds of immigration remedies might apply to undocumented young people. We created a guide that summarized the most common remedies.

We have just updated the guide— Beyond Deferred Action: Long-Term Immigration Remedies that Every Undocumented Young Person Should Know About— to include some new developments in various immigration categories, such as waivers, H-1B visas, and Special Immigrant Juvenile
cases.

We hope that Beyond Deferred Action: Long-Term Immigration Remedies that Every Undocumented Young Person Should Know About will help undocumented young people explore immigration options beyond DACA and, possibly, attain a more permanent status in the United States.

Get screened for other immigration options

We also encourage undocumented young people to go to reputable attorneys and nonprofit organizations—including E4FC's free, online
DREAMer Intake Service—for an "immigration check-up" to see if they qualify for any immigration options that offer work permits and more stable immigration status in the U.S. (such as U-visas for crime victims, T-visas for trafficking victims, or special immigrant juvenile status for youth who have been abused, abandoned or neglected by a parent) or more permanent immigrant status (such as a green card through a family member). To find reputable non-profit legal service providers in your area, visit Immigration Law Help.

Do you value E4FC’s work to help YOU support undocumented students? If so, please make a generous donation today to make sure we’re able to keep supporting you in the months and years ahead.

Sincerely,

Alejandra Guillén
Legal Services Manager
