Broker and Owner of Energy Realty
Now that home sales have cooled in Houston, Realtors will have to work harder to sell homes and price them right. Home owners should be careful about choosing a Realtor that just tells them what they want to hear. The true profesional will tell you what you need to do to sell your home.

First impressions are critical when preparing your home for sale. If your home lacks curb appeal, buyers may not be enticed to go inside. Is your lawn mowed? Are shrubs trimmed; front entry clear of debris? Buyers want to purchase homes that have been well maintained, so if you aren’t maintaining your yard, that first impression isn't good.

Realtors at Energy Realty are professionals who will assist you in staging your home to sell. Although prices are dropping, we are falling back into what is a normal market in Houston. The buying frenzy is gone, but the good news is that we are no longer at risk of a housing bubbble, according to the Biz Journal. Rapidly inflated home prices create a housing bubble of unrealistic home prices that are in danger of rapidly falling. As prices level out, we should see normal appreciation on home prices again.
