The MC media converter from Fiberoptic.com is specifically designed to offer fiber advantages for mission-critical networks like Telco/ISP backbones, cable operators, banking and enterprise networks. The MC Media Converter can reduce network downtime and increase Quality of Service levels by taking advantage of intelligent connection technology (to support auto-negotiation, thereby eliminating the hassle of manually configuring or monitoring settings and ensuring plug-n-play operability.

MC media converters are completely transparent when installed allowing the network to perform in exactly the same way as it did before, except that it can now incorporate both copper and fiber mediums. This flexibility in cabling allows network managers to put fiber cables anywhere within a network without changing the arrangement of the copper-based Ethernet segments. The compact size of our converters allows them to be wall-mounted to save space. Several converters can be simultaneously installed by using the MCC-14 or MCC 16 19” chassis rack.
