Each day you will post a photo inspired by the word we post on our feed. The greater United Methodist Church is participating using the hashtag #LentPhotoADay. We are using the hashtag #CFUMC. We will share those that we see using the hashtag! |

Prayer as Living Actions
Throughout the church you will find glass receptacles with folded slips of paper that list a task for you to try during this Lenten Season. Take one (or two!) and try to achieve what is on the slip (or slips) and then when you are at church again, take a new one! |

A Weekend with Mark Miller
March 14-15
Join Mark Miller as he presents Music: The Praise of God and the Cry for Justice.
On Friday Evening, CFUMC will host a Joy & Justice Sing-In and Presentation.
On Saturday, Trinity Episcopal will host a Choral Worship.

Our Next Hike
Tuesday, March 18th at 2pm
Our next hike will take place in the Boar's Head Neighborhood. The hike is completely paved, a bit hilly and has some beautiful homes to view along the 2.5 mile route.

Upcoming Habitat For Humanity Builds
March 14th & March 22nd
Our next regular monthly Habitat for Humanity build opportunities are on Friday, March 14, 2025, and Saturday, March 22, 2025.
Lunch on both days will be provided by Aldersgate United Methodist Church (pizza, water, and Gatorade).

Visit McGuffey Art Center to explore Mark Stephen Chapman's exhibit named
Lessons in Art at an Exhibition.
A reception will be held March 7th at 5:30pm to open the exhibit and it runs through March 30th.

Cake Auction & Potluck
Sunday, March 23rd following service
Bake a cake and bring it to church that day! Add the ingredients and be sure it’s on a plate you don’t intend to get back! All the proceeds from the cake auction will benefit RISE Against Hunger!
Lunch will be potluck (you bring the sides and desserts) with CFUMC providing the protein.
Our RISE packing event will be April 12 where we will cone together to pack 20,000 meals!

Rise Against Hunger will be Saturday, April 12, 2025.
All ages are welcome. We will be packing 20,000 meals! Rise provides food to the chronically undernourished.

We have our dates, our teaching materials, and our Jesus. Now all we need is our volunteers and kiddos! Attached is a promotional flier to get the word out. Please send those volunteers and kids our way.
