Hamilton's Annual Septemberfest

Mayor Kelly Yaede is inviting residents to enjoy this year’s Septemberfest on Sunday, September 14th from 11 am to 5 pm in Hamilton Township’s Veterans Park.

Celebrating its 32nd year as Hamilton’s largest and most popular community-event, residents and visitors can enjoy vendors, exhibitions, food, entertainment, children’s activities and much more.

“Septemberfest is one of our community’s most popular events and is an annual tradition in Hamilton,” explains Mayor Kelly Yaede. “With some exciting new features for our children and families, this year’s Septemberfest will be another great celebration for our residents and visitors to enjoy.”

In the event of inclement weather, the rain date for Septemberfest will be September 21st.

The Greater Mercer County Heart Walk

The Heart Walk is a community celebration that encourages people to get active while raising vital funds to support the American Heart Association’s mission of building healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke. Dedicated to improving the cardiovascular health of all Americans by 20 percent while reducing deaths from cardiovascular diseases and stroke by 20 percent by the year 2020, the American Heart Association has launched the My Heart. My Life.™ health and wellness platform to empower Americans to get healthier.
The Greater Mercer County Heart Walk offers different opportunities to form fund-raising teams or sponsor the event. With nearly 400 Heart Walks held nationwide, the Greater Mercer County Heart walk anticipates 3,500 people from the Greater Mercer County community to walk together toward heart health.  Find out how you can help click here

Mercer County Irish Fest
September 6 & 7, 2014

Hosted by the Trenton Irish Heritage Association. It is set to feature music from bands such as the Bantry Boys, The Shantys, and the Celtic Martins. There will also be amusement rides, Irish food, a petting zoo, and pony rides. Admission is a $5 donation.
