"Nobody ever drowned in his own sweat."
- Ann Landers

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, better places to live.

The Foundation of Morris Hall/St. Lawrence, Inc. is pleased to welcome the Philly Pops, with guest vocalist Michael Cavanaugh and Conductor Stuart Chafetz performing “The Music of Billy Joel” on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 7:30 pm at the Trenton War Memorial. Mr. Cavanaugh, a charismatic performer, musician, and actor was handpicked by Mr. Joel to play the lead in the Broadway musical Movin’ Out, and Maestro Chafetz has performed with many orchestras throughout the country, as well as renowned artists such as Roberta Flack, Marvin Hamlisch, Bernadette Peters, and many others. The concert includes heartwarming favorites like Scenes From an Italian Restaurant, Only the Good Die Young, Just the Way You Are, and My Life. The fun continues with chart-topping hits by artists who directly influenced Billy Joel, including songs like Great Balls of Fire, Johnny B. Goode, and Pinball Wizard.

Tickets are $35-90 and may be purchased by calling (215) 893-1999 or www.ticketphiladelphia.org. Patron tickets, which include a champagne reception with Conductor Chafetz and Mr. Cavanaugh following the concert, may be purchased by calling (609) 896-9500, ext. 2215 or email at jmillner@slrc.org.
