Our founders are connected through Marine Corps Aviation. Jeff’s grandfather was a Marine in WWII who served with VMF-311, a Marine F4-U Corsair squadron stationed in the South Pacific. Matt is a third generation Naval Aviator who served as a Marine AV-8B Harrier attack pilot during Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom. Because of this connection to Marine Aviation, the company was branded Sky Devil Wines. – Winery 85% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Merlot, the hedonistic 2019 Formation is made from a blend of powerful mountain fruit from Knight’s Valley and a classic Napa Valley vineyard in Oakville. Aged for 28 Months in 100% new French oak, the wine’s mouthfeel is rich and dense with ripe black fruits, cassis, baking spices, and lots of sweet, toasty oak. These robust flavors are followed by ripe, chewy tannins and a long, opulent, sultry finish. Just 200 cases produced.

"The taste is very interesting, almost unlike any other gin I’ve had so far. Starts quiet, warm green, herbal notes on the tip of the tongue. The middle notes are aromatic and brightly herbal. Eucalyptus and a flash of mint. Some floral notes as well, hints of lavender and summer roses. The middle we get some juniper and a touch of heat, it finishes quite warm in the mouth. Leaving notes of citrus around the edges of the palate and just an edge of juniper dryness on the edge. It fades slowly, the faint heat being the last thing to go. Although juniper is here, the peppery quality is taking a backseat to this floral, herbal, fruity bouquet. Quite complex and never boring." -The Gin Is In Reviews

Fontodi Extra Virgin Olive Oil – 500mL

The oil is deep green in color with a fresh aroma of olives, artichokes and aromatic herbs. On the palate it already has a good balance between bitter and spicy notes in the finish while maintaining a great freshness. Produced in Tuscany, Italy and managed by Giovanni Manetti, who has run the property since 1980, the wines and olive oil are as meticulously made as the vineyards, olive groves and cellar are immaculately tended. In addition to the 90 hectares of vineyard on the Fontodi estate, there are a further 10,000 olive trees situated in a variety of different plots, predominantly on marl soils, at altitudes between 400-500 meters above sea level. The olives are picked by hand and carefully pressed on the same day in order to retain the maximum freshness and fragrance of the fruit. Ultra-modern, stainless steel continuous presses were used to protect the paste and oil from oxidation. This resulted in fresh, clean oils that will retain their colour and fruitiness for longer.
