Hazel's defines "value wines" as those that over deliver at any price point. For years Spain has supplied, and continues to offer, value up and down the price spectrum.

This is an amazing deal for a wine produced from low yielding Tempranillo vines farmed organically, hand harvested, oak aged (used French oak for six months), as well as vegan from a sub region in the eastern section of La Mancha, part of Spain's central plateau.

Charles Joguet's was only the second rose ever imported by the renowned Kermit Lynch, the first being Tempier's Bandol, perhaps the most famous rose in the world. Also, arguably, the best Cabernet Francs in the world originate in Chinon, located in France's Loire Valley. Joguet produces his rose via the "saignee" (sohn - yay) method, meaning "to bleed", drawing juice directly off his pressing of organically farmed Cab Franc, resulting in a wine that is more deeply hued, concentrated, and intensely flavored than most of this type, yet retaining the freshness and vibrancy for which they are also known.
