Blend: 75% Garnacha, 20% Tempranillo, 5% Viura. Harvest generally takes place during the first week of November. These vineyards are nearly always the last to be harvested in Rioja. After 48 hours of cold maceration and 28 days of whole cluster fermentation, the wine is aged for 18-19 months in French oak barrels, out of which the first 6 months the wine is on its own lees. “Vivid ruby. Suave, oak-tinged aromas of ripe red berries, cherry cola, vanilla and smoke minerals carry a zesty floral overtone. Silky and expansive on the palate, offering vibrant raspberry, cola and lavender pastille flavors and a touch of exotic spices. Shows impressive clarity and energetic lift on a very long, fruit-driven finish framed by even, slow-building tannins."
