Located right in the heart of the Willamette Valley, [Vincent] practices low-input winemaking using grapes from sustainably-farmed vineyards to produce small amounts of handmade wine without a lot of fuss. “Here's a Pinot Gris made with full fermentation on the skins, followed by aging in older French oak barrels. The "red Pinot Gris" is beautifully floral, with aromas of dried rose petals, thyme, orange peels and peaches. There's great acidity here, with a touch of tannic structure. Flavors of tangerine and quince mix with a chalky note that must be what licking amphora tastes like.”
