Dickel's 8 Year Bourbon is an interesting expression from the folks at Cascade Hollow, not least because in a cast of staple expressions that are unmistakably Dickel in flavor, this release tastes nothing like the others. Laden with green apples, cherry, and butterscotch on the nose; sweet heavy caramel with toasty waffles on the palate; and a drier spice and oak driven finish.
