Pascal Baudar on "Brewing Wild Beers with Local Plants" 
Pascal Baudar, author and renowned professional forager for L.A.’s top chefs, will return to Ojai as our special guest this Saturday, August 11, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. for a workshop on brewing wild beers with local plants.

Pascal will demonstrate techniques described in his latest book, The Wildcrafting Brewer, the follow-up to his best-selling 2016 book, The New Wildcrafted Cuisine.

As usual Pascal will bring foraged snacks and chilled brews to sip.

Ojai Herbal Symposium: Nov. 16-18
It's official! The website is up and we are accepting registration for the inaugural Ojai Herbal Symposium, November 16-18, featuring keynote speaker Dr. Kevin Spelman, an internationally recognized expert on the molecular biology and clinical therapeutics of botanical medicines, especially for his work on the chemistry of medical Cannabis.

Our stellar group of experts, authors, and practitioners includes pharmacologist  James Adams; integrative oncologist Dr. Mary Hardy; author, herbalist and clinical psychotherapist Amanda McQuade Crawford; medicinal herb specialist Dr. Fred Siciliano; integrative pharmacist Dr. Pam Tarlow; Mela Gaskins Butcher, founder and director of the Center for Ayurveda; Rivendell Aromatics founder Sandy Messori and several more exceptional presenters.

Vendor applications are now available for the Herbal Marketplace and volunteers are also needed to help staff the event.
