Creating Smiles, One Instrument at a Time
"This is Frank, a 4th grader at Walnut Street Elementary School in Toms River NJ. Thanks so much for the baritone horn donation. He's so excited and happy to be playing it. He's getting a beautiful sound and is excited to practice it every day. Your donation of this instrument has given Frank an opportunity that might not have been there. I can't tell you how happy I am for Frank and how thankful I am to you and your organization. Your work has a profound effect on young people's lives. " Ron Olender, Frank's music teacher

Music Community
We couldn’t do what we do without the help of others. We have volunteers who pick up, repair, ship, organize/promote events, and support our cause of providing music instruments to underserved individuals and music programs. Each newsletter we like to give a shout out to folks who help manifest the Hungry for Music mission.
Wayne Mesker dedicates his life to helping others. He is an integral part of the Stay Alive Foundation and supports many other music-related charities. Last month, Wayne organized an event at Quaker Steak & Lube, promoting and fundraising for music education and Hungry for Music. We appreciate your support, Wayne!
Luthier’s Marc Glickman & Kelly Criscuolo-Debutts helped create the smile seen in the photo to the right. Marc & Kelly repair and set-up stringed instruments for Hungry for Music. We couldn’t donate to string music programs without them.
