Dear parents,
Bahrain Specialist Hospital with the cooperation of the Science Department in IKNS are organizing a hypertension and obesity screening campaign as part of an ambitious clinical research project to screen all Middle and High School students in Bahrain.
The screening process is simple and quick. It only includes measuring: weight, height, waist circumference and blood pressure. The screening process will be organized inside the school during a regular school day (November, 22nd) with minimal interruption to the daily study program.
We encourage all parents to become part of this national project through allowing their children to participate in the screening process. All the data collected will be kept confidential.
If you have any objections that your son/ daughter participates in the screening program, kindly inform us by replying back to this email mentioning the name and class of your child.
