Dear Parents of Middle School Students,

We would like to inform you that there have been several cases of Chicken Pox in Grade 7 and some in Grade 8. So, it is important to ensure that your child is vaccinated.

Before the rash appears, your child may have some flu-like symptoms, such as:

• feeling sick
• fever above 38C
• headache
• loss of appetite 

In the event you notice these symptoms please have your child rest at home and be checked by a doctor. They would need to rest until they are fully recovered ensuring their own wellbeing and the safety of others.
