Letter from the Administration
November 27, 2014
Dear Parents, Student and Faculty members,

I am writing to inform you about a car accident that involved one of our Kindergarten students yesterday, Wednesday, 26 November 2014 at 2:40 p.m. just outside the school premises.

The student suffered bruises in several parts of his body, however we thank God that his condition is stable now. I salute his parents for showing exemplary courage and patience in dealing with the accident.

Following the incident, the school decided to close Gate 9 (Elementary School Back gate), and instead, parents may use Gate 10 for drop-off and pick-up.

Gate 10 will be open from 7:00-7:50 a.m. and from 2:00-2:20 p.m. Students who arrive after that time must use the Elementary School main entrance.

I kindly request you or your drivers to follow the guidelines below:

  1. 1. Drive carefully on the streets around the school premises.
  2. Be patient and courteous to other drivers at all times.
  3. Ensure that your children use the right side door of the car adjacent to the walkway.
  4. Ask you drivers not to double park as it causes major road blockage.

The school has placed metal barriers and humps opposite most gates to help provide safer waiting areas for students. If you have any suggestions that you think would enhance safety, kindly send us an e-mail on parents@ikns.edu.bh.

Once again, our heartfelt wishes go out to our student for a speedy recovery, wishing you all good health.

Sincerely,

Kamal Abdel-Nour
School President
