Dear Parents,
As the 2017-2018 Academic Year comes to an end, we would like to extend our thanks and appreciation to our current PTSA members for their time and effort spent helping the school during their service. Thank you to Sh. Deena bint Salman Al Khalifa, Chair of the PTSA, Mr. Mohamed Al Moayed, Ms. Maryam Nass, Mr. Kamal Murad, Ms. Hala Al Moayyed and Ms. Eman Nooruddin for their support.
It is now time to announce the opening of the upcoming PTSA elections for the 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 Academic Years. Six members will be elected to represent parents in accordance with the Internal Rules and Regulations of the PTSA.
If you wish to nominate yourself, kindly make sure you read the
PTSA Bylaws and submit the form below.
A)
Nomination
1)
Online Application Forms are active until Thursday, May 31st, 8:00 pm.
2)
Kindly be advised that only one member from each family can nominate themselves regardless of the number of children registered at the school.
3)
Once all applications have been submitted, a list of nominees will be sent home with the students on Tuesday June 5th, 2018.
B)
Election
1)
Elections will begin on Thursday, June 7 from 8:30am to 12:30pm, where parents are invited to visit the Secondary School reception and fill out the election form.
2)
Vote count will begin at 1:00 pm on the same day, during a parent meeting at the Elementary School Main Hall.
We would like to highlight the importance of your participation and input in the PTSA elections, in order to strengthen the bond between all parties; parents, teachers, students and the school.
