Accessible transport consultation
MPs in the Transport Committee have launched an inquiry into how effective UK legislation is at making transport accessible to all.
They want to find out if the laws in the UK are making transportation accessible for everyone.
The inquiry will look at both public and private modes of transport to review how providers are enforcing accessibility laws, identify any gaps, and consider remedies for those who have been excluded.
You have until 20 March to share your views.

Have you heard about the West Sussex SPoA?
The West Sussex SPoA, (Single Point of Access), for emotional wellbeing and mental health support for children and young people operates Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm.
The SPoA, provided by Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust's Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS), WSCC Youth Emotional Support Service (YES) and YMCA Dialogue, provides a simplified single route so that children, young people, families, carers and professionals can be directed to the right service, eliminating the need to refer to multiple services.
Children & young people (aged 4-18), parents, carers, families, GPs and other professionals can all refer to SPoA.

Time to Talk Next Steps is free support for young people in England aged between 16-25 with additional needs. It is for young people who are experiencing anxiety, isolation and who have limited or no plans for the future. They may be in school or in college or have finished all education and be unsure how to move forward.
Support may involve linking individuals with people who have similar issues and interests to you through peer support sessions, linking them with useful activities or contacts in your their area or providing individual sessions to build confidence and explore next steps.
