If you’re aged between 40 and 74 years old, you may be eligible for a free NHS Health Check. This 30-minute check could be a crucial step in protecting your health. It helps to detect potential risks of heart disease, stroke, diabetes, and kidney disease early.

 

The check includes assessments of your lifestyle, family history, measurements, and a blood test for cholesterol.

Skills for Care Direct Payments workforce surveys

 

Skills for Care is conducting workforce surveys aimed at Individual Employers and Personal Assistants.

 

The surveys are vital to gather insights that will help shape and improve the support provided to Direct Payment recipients and their employers.

 

The results of the surveys will be shared with the Department of Health and Social Care, NHS England and other organisations to help gain a better understanding of how the Direct Payment workforce operates.

 

The closing date for both surveys is Friday 16 February.
