Independent Lives' prize draw

As the festive season unfolds, we want to remind you of our Remember this December prize draw.

It offers you the chance to win incredible prizes, including a £200 M&S voucher, restaurant vouchers, gym memberships, and more, all while supporting Independent Lives.

Time is of the essence! The draw closes at 11:59pm on Thursday, 14 December. For just £2 per ticket, you're not only entering a world of potential rewards but also contributing to our mission of ending social isolation for disabled people this winter.

Every ticket you purchase supports Independent Lives in empowering disabled people to forge new friendships, develop skills, and support one another in living independent lives. Your participation goes beyond the draw; it's a step towards making a meaningful difference.

Purchase your tickets easily online with a debit card, and be instantly entered into the draw. Remember, you must be over 18 to participate. We count on your support to make this campaign a success. Let's make this December a month to remember.

Become an Independent Lives trustee

We believe that every individual has the power to bring about positive change, especially in the lives of disabled people, those with support needs, and carers. This is your chance to make a real difference by joining us as a trustee at Independent Lives.

As a trustee, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the future of Independent Lives. Your insights, experiences, and guidance will help steer our organisation towards achieving greater impact in our community. You will be a voice for those we serve, ensuring that their needs and aspirations are at the heart of everything we do.

We're looking for the following people to join our board:

  • Individuals with lived experience of disability;
  • Professionals from health & social care, HR, or legal backgrounds;
  • People passionate about promoting equality and inclusion;
  • Individuals ready to commit one to two days per month for board meetings and strategic planning.

Joining Independent Lives as a trustee is not just about what you can offer us – it's also about what you can gain. This role offers you a unique opportunity to be part of a leading charity that's making a real difference.

You will join a team of diverse, committed, and passionate people. This role is a platform for you to advocate for and influence issues close to your heart, all while growing personally and professionally in leadership and governance.
