Dear Members and Friends of ICPA Worldwide,
We are delighted to share that the Netflix Original film 10DANCE has been released globally today, 18 December.
ICPA was honoured to support this production through professional protocol and etiquette supervision, led personally by our Founder and Principal, Mirei Cecilia Hakuba, to ensure a high level of international authenticity on screen.
Protocol on Set: Precision Behind a High-Society Scene
One of the film’s pivotal sequences features the disciplined refinement of British gentleman’s etiquette. To create a credible high-society atmosphere, Mirei Cecilia Hakuba oversaw key elements of performance and setting, including:
- Lead actor coaching: Guiding Mr Keita Machida in deportment, presence, and the social graces expected of a British gentleman.
- Table and setting supervision: Ensuring protocol-accurate placement of silverware, glassware, and overall table arrangement.
- Ensemble direction: Coordinating the movement and social conduct of the extras to maintain a seamless, world-class environment.
We are also proud that Mirei Cecilia Hakuba and ICPA are credited in the end titles of this major Netflix production.
Where Art Meets Discipline: Ballroom Training × International Protocol
The precision you see on screen reflects our Principal’s unique foundation as a professional ballroom dancer as well as an International Protocol specialist—a rare combination of physical grace, timing, and social dignity. This philosophy informs our International Gentleman’s Liberal Arts Programme, developed and taught exclusively at ICPA.
