Since the last 18 months has been challenging for everyone, JSMW would like to invite you all to join us on Saturday October 2nd for our first ever Chalo for Chai & Charcha.
Date: Saturday October 2, 2021
Time: 10 AM (Check-in) / 11 AM (Walk)
Location: Shelter C, Black Hill Regional Park, 20930 Lake Ridge Dr., Boyds MD 20841 (Park Web Site) (Park Map: Click Here)
Cost: Free for JSMW members and their families on first come/first serve registration
Donations are welcome. We will have a donation box at the event or you can send donations via Zelle (treasurer@jainsocietydc.org)
Children 5 and under do not need to register, but are welcome
We will start the check-in process at 10:00 AM. The walk will begin at 11 AM.
The walk is approximately 3.6 miles and the terrain is fairly flat (participants are not required to walk entire course).
After the walk, please join us for:
- Jain Academic Bowl awards and recognition
- Games and fun time
- Some Charcha with your fellow members while you sip some Chai
- Amazing lunch
- Oh, did we mention CHAI !!!!
