Important Guidelines For
Bhagwan Nagar Pravesh Event
1) The forecast for Saturday is rainy and extreme/freezing cold. Please wear puja-appropriate (brand-new) thermals underneath normal puja clothes to stay warm.
2) Showers: We have arranged for a trailer shower facility on site. If you will require more space to wear your clothes, it is preferred that you use the two showers at the temple.
Please only plan to take a shower if absolutely necessary.
While taking showers, please be mindful of others and follow Jain principles in conserving water.
3) Some areas will be marked with CAUTION tape. Please do not enter these areas.
4) During the Varghodo, those carrying Bhagwan cannot wear shoes. Please arrange to wear puja-appropriate brand new thermal socks.
5) We encourage other labharthi to wear slippers/sandals and socks - please avoid wearing any leather.
6) All labharthi will receive passes to enter the Rang-Mandap during only their allotted time. If you do not have this pass, please do not enter.
7) Please RSVP to each event carefully. It is extremely important we have accurate numbers and do not waste food.
8) Reminder about puja clothes: these are new clothes you have not eaten in or have used the restroom in.
9) Please avoid wearing any black clothing during the Chalpratishtha event (all 3 days).
10) For Ekasnu/Biyasanu/Upvas, please bring your own boiled water
11) We encourage all Sangh members to bring their own water bottle.
