Currently, we are running short on funds in Rupees in India for paying to the marble and other contractors. 

 

Members are requested to offer help by sending their donation in Rupees.

Donation of Rs. 2 lakhs or more can be paid in India and the corresponding amount in dollars calculated @ Rs. 80 per US Dollar will be credited to your General Fund account (e.g., You will get a credit of $5000, if you donate Rs. 4 Lakhs and
not Rs. 4,15000 if calculated at the current exchange rate of about Rs. 83/USD)

 

The funds credited in the General fund account can be used for taking any Labh/Gheeboli for the New Jain Center Project.

 

Please note that for donations made in Rupees,

NO CHARITY DONATION RECEIPT can be given for claiming charity donation on tax return to IRS. If you are taking standard deduction (and not itemizing deductions) on your tax return, you can offer this help with no monetary loss.

Jain Temple in New Hyde Park, New York

 

Construction of the new Jain temple in New Hyde Park is near completion and Pratishtha is planned in summer, 2024. 

 

The three Anjan Shalaka Tirthankar Pratimaji will be moved from their current temple and placed in the Ghabhara of the new temple.  In addition two new Pratimaji (Mahavir Swami and Shantinath Bhagwan) will also be placed in the Ghabhara of the new temple.  Anjan Shalaka of these two new Pratimaji and of a new Silver Murti of Shantinath Bhagwan will be performed in Mahudi, India on February 11, 2024

 

Nakro for Samuhik Bharai of all these three new Pratimaji is only $7501 and will be offered to the first 108 sponsors.
