Special Anjan Shalaka Program

As announced earlier, Anjan Shalaka ceremony will be held at Koba near Ahmedabad, India from November 25th to 30th, 2022  under the Nishra of Rastrasant Acharya Shree Padmasagarsuriji Maharaj Saheb.   

 

Kumbh Sthapana for the program will be held on November 22nd, 2022.

Recently received tentative schedule for the program in Gujarati is as shown below. We are working on translating the schedule in English and it will be sent out soon.

During this event, participants will get an opportunity to take labh of performing various Vidhis/rituals detailed on the schedule. These labhs will be assigned by Gheeboli and Fixed Nakro.

A special musical program along with Gheeboli as shown below for some Labh items will be held via Zoom on

It will be conducted by well-known musicians and Vidhikar from India.

Snatra Puja

This year, we are having Ayambil on all 9 days at our temple between 12 and 1 pm. On last day of Ayambil Oli or Sunday, Oct 9th, there will be a monthly Snatra pooja followed by Lunch (Ayambil Food)

As per JSMW constitution, we have two board of trustee positions coming open. 

 

Please find below 2022 election nomination form for these positions.

 

The deadline for submitting the form is October 8, 2022 midnight. Completed forms should either be submitted in person to election committee member listed in the form or emailed to elections@jainsocietydc.org

 

If needed, elections will be conducted at our temple on November 6th at 1021 Briggs Chaney Road, Silver Spring, MD, 20905.
