It was wonderful to see many of you at the recent JNTO Roadshows in Perth and Sydney!
JNTO recently confirmed the 2024 traveller statistics to Japan. Australian visitors made up an amazing
920,200 visitors to Japan in 2024! That is nearly one million visitors to Japan! This could not have happened without your essential contribution as travel trade in promoting and selling Japan as a travel destination. From all of us at JNTO we would like to say a huge
arigatogozaimasu from the bottom of our hearts.

JNTO Summer Roadshows Wrap Up
JNTO held their bi-annual roadshows in Perth and Sydney on the 3rd and 5th February. Perth had a total 38 suppliers and 71 buyers while Sydney had total 39 suppliers and 135 buyers. Buyers enjoyed delicious Japanese canapes and traditional Japanese music like the Oninawan shamisen and koto (Japanese harp), while making important business connections with suppliers and expanding their knowledge of Japan travel.
JNTO also welcomed a very special guest: the official Expo 2025 mascot- Myaku Myaku!
Our next Roadshows will be held around August/September this year. Keep an eye out in these monthly newsletters later this year for more details!
