Upcoming Winter Updates
If your clients are planning a winter road trip in Hokkaido, the prefecture has released a new driving portal site for information on rental cars, traffic rules and winter driving tips – perfect for navigating snowy landscapes safely.
There’s also some exciting news for snow sport lovers, with the Ikon Pass expanding its offering to include seven new Japanese ski resorts for Aussie passholders.

Launching in December 2025, the ‘Hakone Cruise Matcha Party’ features a picturesque tea room and an open-air bench area reminiscent of a tranquil tea plantation. With easy access from Tokyo, it's a great experience add-on for clients away from the bustle of the city.
