THINKING OF TATANYA

Sadly, our friend and former member Tatanya Hamermesh, daughter of Ken Hamermesh and Lynn Coleman, is undergoing serious medical treatment in New York City.  We remember Tatanya fondly, and she is in our thoughts and prayers.  To follow her progress and to perhaps help her out, please check this website:  https://sites.google.com/view/tatanya

CHRISTMAS DAY MITZVAH
Tues., Dec. 25, 8 a.m.

Interested in participating in a wonderful Christmas Day mitzvah?  Bennett Parnes has the perfect project for you!

Bennett has a warm, personal contact with Lowry Community Church (a traditional African American church) which cooks, packages, and delivers hot meals to 1500 homeless people in the Denver area on Christmas Day.  The church needs and would very much welcome Kohelet's help with this.  This commitment is on Christmas morning, from 8 a.m. til noon or 1 p.m.  It is perfect for families to do together.  If you are interested (or have questions), please email Bennett, parnesb@gmail.com, so that he will have an idea of numbers.

JUDAIC BOOKS DONATED TO KOHELET & THANK YOU

Former member Chad Argentar very generously donated his library of Judaic books to Kohelet.  As there are more than we need for our library, members are invited to check them out and see if you would like to add them to your own libraries.  The books are on the table in the Kohelet library.  They will be there until about November 25, at which time they will be passed to another Jewish library.

Special thanks and appreciation to Joan and Neiel for spending many hours sorting through Chad's book donation on a snowy Sunday, as well as rearranging and culling through the books in our Kohelet Library.  The library is a great resource for Torah discussion preparation.

Y'share Co'ach to Joan and Neiel for your generous donation of time and effort!
