ANNOUNCEMENTS
KOHELET SHABBAT SERVICE OCT. 6

I will be leading Kohelet services this coming Shabbat, Oct. 6th.
The service will be abbreviated and with more English.
There may be time for some brief appropriately placed learning about the service structure and prayer progression.
We have done this several years ago and a reprise may be reasonable.

KOHELET SUKKOT

The Baronbergs, Zhuks, Joel B, Barbara B and Susan H celebrated Chag Sukkot at Kohelet.

It was a meaningful evening of conversation, Sukkot discussion, eating and shaking the Lulav.

SIMCHAT TORAH

A fun filled evening of song and dance filled the Kohelet sanctuary for Simchat Torah.
We all greatly appreciate the efforts of Robyn and Chuck Jacobs for organizing and leading the program.
Joel Barach led the leining to finish the Torah and then begin Bereshit.  The new year is off and running.
And we now pray for rain as we read the Amidah.

APPRECIATION FOR YIZKOR SERVICE

THINKING OF TATANYA

Sadly, our friend and former member Tatanya Hamermesh, daughter of Ken Hamermesh and Lynn Coleman, is undergoing serious medical treatment in New York City.  We remember Tanya fondly, and she is in our thoughts and prayers.  To follow her progress and to perhaps help her out, please check this website:  https://sites.google.com/view/tatanya
