May there be abundant peace from Heaven, and life, upon us and upon all of Israel;

He Who makes peace in His heights, may He make peace upon us and upon all Israel.

These are the names of our fellow 11 Jews who were murdered Saturday morning during Shabbat services in Pittsburgh, and we are in full support of their families, their community, and all Jews worldwide.

Much will be discussed in the coming days and weeks.  I invite all of Kohelet to stand together proudly to reaffirm our heritage, collectively rise above this heinous act and to show to the world that though wounded, we are firmly committed to our community.

I encourage all Kohelet members and guests to attend services this coming Shabbat in a show of solidarity, strength, and unity.
