SHABBAT SERVICE DECEMBER 3
PARSHA TOLDOT

SAVE THE DATE

Chanukah oh Chanukah......!
Eat, laugh, light, spin, indulge, sing and celebrate.
It's around the corner, and we've got a fabulous celebration in the works. You can either go out for below-average Chinese food and to a movie on Christmas night......or bask in the glow of the menorahs at Kohelet, enjoying latkes, dreidels, songs, trivia, and general merriment with your Kohelet community. It's the perfect gathering for celebrants of all ages. Mark your calendars now for Sunday, December 25th, 5:30 p.m.
Details to follow, but in the meantime, invite your friends and family.

URGENT SITUATION IN ISRAEL

As a result of the recent severe and widespread wildfires across Northern and Central Israel there has been much destruction of communities and the land. Homes have been destroyed and thousands have been evacuated and displaced. Israel’s firefighting capacities have been severely stressed and depleted. Reforestation will be a significant part of this recovery in addition to rebuilding homes and neighborhoods. Replenishing of Fire and Rescue Services and other emergency departments is urgently needed. Consider participating in these efforts with your contribution to the Jewish National Fund or another agency of your choice.
Neiel

REVISED DATE

The Kohelet Annual Meeting will be held on January 29.
This is a change from the previously announced time in this week’s Newsletter of January 8.
Make a note.
