WELCOME, ALLIE

Did you wonder who were those remarkable young women chanting Haftorah on Rosh Hashonah? This week we introduce new Kohelet member Allie Schechter: “I just moved to Colorado in July from Connecticut. I graduated from college this past year and am now training as a 6th grade science teacher at DSST: Stapleton Middle School. I am excited to be here in Denver and to be a part of the Kohelet community!”

RETREAT NOVEMBER 6

The Kohelet retreat is approaching fast. Snow Mountain Ranch offers numerous fun activities for adults and children including an extensive craft shop, swimming, roller skating, climbing wall, basketball, zipline, and short hikes. Many of these activities are free and others require a fee. It should be a great weekend for all of us.

FEELING SAD?

Are you disappointed that Hannah Kapnik Ashar did not lead any of the High Holiday services this year? Do not despair. Hannah will be showing up intermittently this year to lead Shabbat services at Kohelet. The first will be on October 22. Don’t miss Hannah’s spirited and spiritual davening.
