Join us in celebrating Earth Day on Tuesday, April 22, by participating in Foreign Object Debris (FOD) Walks across the Air Operations Area (AOA). This event is open to all badge holders with Airfield Access. Please arrive at the designated location wearing your reflective vest for the pre-walk safety briefing. Foreign Object Debris (FOD) on the AOA poses significant safety risks, potentially damaging aircraft, increasing maintenance costs, and causing catastrophic incidents. Reducing FOD at LAX decreases delays, reduces equipment damage, and improves guest experience.
