Proper use of Plastic Sheeting and Shrink-wrap
Plastic sheeting used to cover cargo, pallets, or containers on the Air Operations Area (AOA) must be properly secured so it will not blow off and become FOD
Improper use of Plastic Sheeting and Shrink-wrap
Improper use of plastic sheets and shrink-wrap can lead to significant FOD on the AOA with costly consequences.
Loose shrink-wrap can become wrapped around dolly axles, causing GSE wheels to breakaway and roll onto taxiways and runways.
