LAX Rules & Regulation Revision
Effective July 15, 2022
New amendments to the LAX Rules and Regulations and LAX SAFE Program have been published with an effective date of July 15, 2022.
 
The complete documents may be viewed by clicking on the links below. These documents will also be posted at www.lawa.org/rules by July 15. Principle changes are detailed below.
3.23.1 - The use of unmanned aircraft systems or drones is not permitted on, over, or adjacent to airport property unless a specific location and operation is approved by ATC.
5.1.2.b - TTV shall be used for disabled passengers only. Accompanying party may use the TTV if it will not delay or negatively impact any other ADA requests.
NOTE: The TTV between TBIT and TBIT West is available for use to all persons.
 
5.1.2.e - Wheelchair Service Providers shall not leave unoccupied equipment unattended.
 
5.1.3 - Wheelchair Service Providers shall not push more than one occupied wheelchair at a time.
7.3.9. - Badged employees escorting individuals and/or vehicles into the Secured/Sterile Area shall ensure the escortee does not possess any firearm, ammunition, explosives or incendiary devices.
 

7.8.4. - No person shall bring into the Secured/Sterile Area any real or replica of an improvised explosive device, unless approved by Airport Police.
