Vehicle Service Road E17
Temporary Closure
Vehicle Service Road (VSR) E17 will close beween VSR AA and VSR E from June 24, 2021 until January 2022 (Estimated).
 
The RS-X Project will close VSR E17 between VSR AA and the Vehicle Service Road crossing for Gates 401- 405 on June 24, 2021 at 0700L, to begin construction to install a 34.5Kv ductbank for the new LADWP Receiving Station-X.  
 
Vehicles needing to transit around the West Remote Gates may still use VSR AA, VSR E and VSR E17, west of the closure area.  
 
As the project continues to the north, additional Service Road E17 closures are expected between VSR E and VSR AA from June 24, 2021 until January, 2022 (Estimated).  Access will be maintained to Remote Gates 401-419 from VSR E and VSR AA.
Operational Impacts
  • On June 24, 2021 at 0700L, VSR E17 will be closed between VSR AA and the VSR crossing for Gates 401-405.

  • Vehicles needing access to Gates 401-405 should use either VSR AA, VSR E or the VSR crossing Taxilane E15 (between Gates 412 and 403).

  • Vehicles needing access to Gates 410-419 will need to use VSR E to the access road between Gates 418-419.
