Brakes on all equipment must be set whenever parked. There have been two recent incidents where GSE parking brakes were not set, resulting in a severe employee injury, and GSE almost entering the aircraft movement area.

Inspect your tires prior to driving. Bald or worn tires should not be driven on as they can cause hydroplaning, skidding and loss of control. Bald tires are also more likely to suddenly failure (blowout) while driving.

Foreign Object Debris (FOD) is capable of causing serious damage to aircraft and injury to personnel. Always make sure cart are kept clean, curtains properly secured and cargo doors. |
