Super Bowl 2022
Aircraft Traffic Safety Reminders
The 2022 Super Bowl is expected to bring temporary changes to aircraft activity and parking locations.

Between Feb. 10-14, there will be an increase in General Aviation flights (smaller jet and propeller aircraft) at LAX.

While many of these aircraft will park at Atlantic and Signature Aviation, many will also park at the following aircraft cargo ramps:

  • West Imperial Terminal Spot B
  • West Imperial Terminal Spot C
  • South Pad 4
  • Singapore 1

While most of the increased traffic will be along VSR A, be aware of increase in General Aiation flights at all taxiway/VSR intersections (zipper markings).

When driving along Vehicle Service Road A (VSR A), actively look for and yield to all aircraft and passengers. Slow down and do not drive through gates/ramps.
In addition, two new stop signs are installed on VSR A to serve as a visual reminder to stop and look for aircraft.

You must come to a complete stop and ensure there are no arriving or departing aircraft before passing the stop sign.
VSR A at West Imperial Spot C (WIT C)
VSR A at South Pad 1 & Atlantic
