Patient Access to Nutritious Food
Research-based initiatives are presented to identify models that make a difference in people’s health. Local partnerships are highlighted as key to finding solutions for food insecurity, obesity, and other health-related issues in rural areas  here
Functional Limitations Among Adults 65 or Older
Improved understanding of the relationship between functional limitations and co-occurring chronic diseases (multimorbidity) is an emerging area of interest. The objective of this study was to investigate the association between multimorbidity and functional limitations among community-dwelling U.S. adults 65 or older, and explore factors that modify this association  here  
Mental Illness among  Adults below Poverty Line
The relationship between mental illness and poverty is complicated. Poverty may intensify the experience of mental illness. Poverty may also increase the likelihood of the onset of mental illness. At the same time, experiencing mental illness may also increase the chances of living below the poverty line. See research here
