"THE CREDENTIAL"

December 2011

PROFESSIONAL APPRECIATION

Guest Author P. Lindsay Robertson, P.E., Vice President, W.L. Cassell & Associates, Kansas City, Missouri

For 75 years our company focused on design projects in Missouri and Kansas, but during the recent down turn in the economy we had to expand our horizons looking for projects where ever we could across the country.  Of course this meant we also had to expand the horizon in the world of state licensure and I was the "lucky" one who got to expand this horizon!  Keeping track of license renewal and continuing education requirements for one or two states is one thing, but doing this for three, four, five or more states can be very daunting and time consuming.  The service provided by AECredentialing makes this task not daunting and lets me focus my time on the actual design projects.  Surprisingly, a couple of states in which I have recently been licensed do not have any continuing education requirements, which I had no idea about until I received my first report from AECredentialing.  It is nice to know that I have someone who is researching the wide array of requirements for the various states in which I am licensed and is making sure I keep up with those requirements.

As this year comes to an end, all of us at AECredentialing send special holiday greetings to readers of our monthly newsletter "The Credential".  Thank you.
