Dr. Kandis Leslie Gillard-AbdulAziz is an American chemical and environmental engineer known for the development of technologies that turn agricultural waste into a filtration system for water. While previously residing at the University of California, Riverside, she worked as an assistant professor in the Chemical and Environmental Engineering Department. Before joining the University of Southern California, she directed the Sustainable Lab, a diagnostic center for repurposing waste materials into innovative products that offer benefits to society. |

Aisha Bowe, born November 4, 1985 is a Bahamian American aerospace engineer, entrepreneur, and STEM advocate. She is the founder and chief executive officer of STEMBoard, a technology and professional services company, and the founder of LINGO, an education technology company. STEMBoard was named to Inc. magazine's 5000 list of the fastest-growing private companies in the United States in 2020 and 2023.

In April 2025, Bowe flew aboard the Blue Origin NS-31 suborbital mission, where she served as a science payload operator for plant biology experiments conducted in partnership with - NASA affiliated research institutions.

Kimberly Bryant, born January 14, 1967 is an engineer who worked in the biotechnology field at Genentech, Novartis Vaccines, Diagnostic, and Merck. In 2011, Bryant founded Black Girls Code, a nonprofit organization that focuses on providing technology and computer programming education to African-American girls. After founding Black Girls Code, Bryant was listed as one of the "25 Most Influential African-Americans In Technology" by Business Insider.

Etosha R. Cave is an American mechanical engineer based in Berkeley, California. She is the co-founder and Chief Scientific Officer of Twelve a startup that recycles carbon dioxide.

Felecia Davis is an American architect, engineer and educator. She is principal of FELECIA DAVIS STUDIO where she bridges art, engineering, design and architecture. Davis is known for her work in computational textiles.

|
Davis’ research explores the intersection between textiles and architecture with the aim of producing materials and objects that are responsive to their environments. More specifically, her use of Architextiles combine digital soft fabrication and computational practice to generate fabrics that can facilitate a wide range of functions. To date, Davis has developed textiles that can respond to the touch of non-verbal hospital patients; parametric tents that are able to change size and shape in response to changes in light and the number of people underneath it; as well as walls of fabric that change based on the emotions of those in the room. |

Jeanette Jo Epps, born November 3, 1970 is an American aerospace engineer and retired NASA Astronaut. Epps received both her M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in aerospace engineering from the University of Maryland where she was part of the roto-craft research group and was a NASA GSRP Fellow. She was chosen for the 20th class of NASA astronauts in 2009, graduating in 2011. She served as a member of the ISS Operations Branch and completed analog astronaut missions, including NEEMO 18 and CAVES 19. She is the second woman and first African-American woman to have participated in CAVES. She was part of the SPACEX Crew-8, the mission that spent 235 days in space and 232 days on the ISS from launch on March 4, 2024 to return to Earth on October 25, 2024.

Epps worked in research at Ford Motor Company, as a Technical Intelligence Officer with the Technical Intelligence Agency. Her work at the Ford Motor Company resulted in a provisional patent involving the application of magnetostrictive actuators to reduce in the vibrations suspension control arms, and later, a US patent for detection of the location of a frontal collision in an automobile. She worked at the CIA for seven years, including deployments to Iraq. Before becoming an astronaut, her role at the CIA was a Technical Intelligence Officer.

She currently holds the role of Director of the Nuclear Nonproliferation Division at Idaho National Laboratory, transitioning from her role as Chief Scientist.
